It's all done and dusted!

After has been edited, re-edited and proofed and is at the printers. I'm rapt with the finished product. Karen, Melissa, Andrew and the gang at Black Dog Books have done an amazing job. They truly are a very talented crew.

When I am writing a story, I don't think about the cover at all, so it's always exciting to see how the cover develops from an idea to the finished product. I love After's cover. It captures how battered the main character, Callum, is and how hard he is struggling to hold himself together.

Over the next few weeks, I'm continuing to visit schools to run Writer's Workshops - this week it's Colac, then to Ballarat and just before holidays, I'm visiting St James in Bentleigh. Last week I worked with the fantastic kids at St Augustine's in Maryborough.

Between the travel, I'm starting to work on my next book, which is an exciting time.

Also exciting is my new website. I love it! Isaac and his gang have done a terrific job!
