Author events with Sue Lawson

Sue Lawson visits festivals and literary events across Australia. Sue speaks about her experiences as a writer and her young adult and junior fiction novels, picture books and non-fiction books. She also conducts writing workshops for all ages.

Sue draws on nearly 20 years’ experience as a radio interviewer to facilitate sessions and conduct interviews. Her vibrant, energetic and inspiring author talks and workshops are tailored to meet participants’ unique needs.

Although Sue has reduced the number of school visits she does, she still attends a small number of schools each year. She is also happy to arrange virtual visits.

Sue and co-author and friend Aunty Fay Stewart Muir talk at schools and festivals, in person and online. During their talks, Sue facilitates Aunty Fay’s discussion about her First Nations culture and their books, Respect, Sharing, Family and Country.

Please contact Sue to discuss her availability and book her for your school, writer’s group or festival or learn more about her workshops

Sue is available in person and virtually.
